After surviving both brain and heart surgery, California native and lifelong fiction writer, Austin attended Academy of Art University in San Francisco. There, he honed his writing skills, in addition to learning to produce, direct, DP, and edit.<br \/>\nIn 2005, Austin co-founded Continuum Pictures, an independent production company based in Los Angeles. During his six years as Continuum Pictures\u2019 postproduction supervisor, he was involved with every aspect of production on a multitude of projects from commercials, promotional videos, music videos, short films, live events, animation and above all, feature films.  As the company\u2019s postproduction supervisor, <br \/>\nAustin\u2019s first major break came in 2009, when he served as Producer, Director of Photography, and Editor on Sabor Tropical, a motion picture shot on location in Panama, which received theatrical distribution, both foreign and domestic, as well as a home video release.<br \/>\nAustin is currently a freelance editor for Film Pool, and an executive producer at Splice Pictures LLC.<br \/>\n<\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n","success":true,"has_video":false,"page_type":"team","videos":null}
